About GRS And Adam Hopson, co-Founder of Jeremiah 29:11 Ministries.

My most meaningful work creating GRS, has been serving as Operations Manager of two sober living homes in Knoxville, Daddy Mack and Mother Marie; and co-founding Jeremiah 29:11 Ministries. I'm also owner and director of Isaac's House in New Tazewell, the first men's sober living home in Claiborne County. Named after my son Isaac, losing my parental rights became a turning point. That pain became purpose; building hope, restoring lives, giving back to the community I once took from and watching men regain dignity and lasting recovery.

My Story – The Heart Behind Isaac’s House.

There was a time when I was lost. I battled addiction—years of pain, chaos, and broken promises. I made mistakes I can’t take back, but I never stopped fighting to become better. When I found the strength to get clean, it wasn’t just for me—it was for my son, Isaac.
He was my reason. My anchor.

I got sober. I stayed sober. I followed every step the court laid out. I went to meetings, completed programs, passed drug tests, kept a steady job, and built a life rooted in recovery and responsibility.

I did everything they asked me to do. But even after all that… they still took away my rights. They told me I couldn’t be part of Isaac’s life. That moment nearly broke me.
But instead of letting the pain destroy me, I made a decision: If I couldn’t be there for my son the way I wanted to, I would honor him in the most powerful way I could—by helping others find the light I fought so hard to reach. That’s how Isaac’s House was born.

A sober living home created not just from bricks and walls—but from heartbreak, healing, and hope.
Isaac’s House isn’t just a place to stay. It’s a place to rebuild. A place where men who are serious about recovery can come to feel safe, supported, and seen. Where they’re held accountable. Where they’re treated with dignity. Where they’re reminded that they matter—even if the world has told them otherwise.

And through it all, I’ve learned one thing without a doubt: God takes care of His own. When I thought everything was lost, He gave me a new purpose. When doors closed, He opened a path. When I was hurting, He turned that pain into something that could help others heal.
This house stands for every parent who has lost something precious and still keeps going.
It stands for every man who wants to change and just needs a chance.

And most of all, it stands for my son, Isaac. He may not be in my life the way I dreamed, but through this house—his name is giving others a second chance at life. This is more than a recovery home.
It’s a promise, it's legacy and a testimony to the truth that God takes care of His own.
